Cricut Mini Swap (mini for Faye Rains)

This is a mini I did for a Cricut swap. It was my 1st time doing one of these swaps and boy did I enjoy it. We had to incorporate leaves and cricut die cuts in each. My partner was Faye Rains. Very nice lady (Hello again Faye)smile. We had to commitcate with each other to find out what colors or theme we wanted and must I say she was not picky at all. So I got to pretty much do anything I wanted. (smile) As you look at all the pics I took of it , I added lots of tags and used the Forever Young cartridge. The roses on the front I were handmade by me and added stickles and embosing to them. The paper stach used was from Prima. For the embellies I  used whatever was in my stash. I did my best to kinda go with a vintage look with the inked edges. I really hope she likes it. Mine should be coming soon from her and I will share that book as well. Until next time everyone....

And now here is the mini that she did for me. I totally luv it and she also included some fun treats with it too. Thanks again Faye.

Baby Monkey Shower (paperbag mini book)

Here is my newest paper bag mini book.It was done for a co-worker at my job baby shower. She is having a little baby boy in December. Her theme is monkeys. I think the book came out so cute once I finished. When I gave it to her she was sooo surprised and loved it. The cartridges I used was New Arrival and Storybook. The paper used was from my paper stash and from DCWV Summer Dream. Thanks for looking.

Here are the tags that go in the inside slots for tons of pictures and journaling.

Pumpkin and Pears Envelope Mini Album For Mini Book Anonymous

Hey everyone and Happy October. Here is my latest mini that I created for my DT MBA. The theme was pumpkins and pears. In the beginning I had a really hard time creating a mini with this theme, but thanks to my fellow DT members I was able to come up with something simple and cute that I was happy with.  I created it from the famous envelope technique that I found on YouTube. I used alot of pumpkin and pear vintage photos on the tags. I also used my cricut to create some of the die cuts. The paper used was the Breathe Collection paper stack from Prima. The rose on the front I made and enhanced with ice stickles. In total used about 7 envelopes and embellies from everything in my stash. Also lots of ribbon and fibers for the binding and tags.Hope you all like it. Thanks again for looking.

Boy Name Book

Hello blogger world. I know its been a while since I have posted a new book. Well now that school is back in for my kids I have been super dupper busy. Here is a recent book that I completed for a client of mine. As you can see I used the Superman Cricut Cart for the character cut at 6inches. The letters were from the Jasmine Cart cut at I think 5 1/2 inches. I have been asked by several of you all out there how I put together these books. To be honest I have tried to put it in writing form but cant seem to remember to write everything down at the time. So I've decided to try my best with this book. 1st I cut all the chip board to the size I want, this book measures 6 inches tall and 12 inches long. each spach between the letters are measured at 2 1/2 inches apart (with this I kinds just wing it until I think its spaced far enough apart). From there I cover all the chipboard with DP I use spray adhesive because it works the best for me. Once the book is all covered then I just cut out the Cricut shapes or letters all at the same size. Then I adhere them to each one of the flaps. Last once the book is complete I embelish and put the matting on each. The mini flaps in between I put just to add more photos. There is really no rhyme or reason to the wideth I just make sure that the height fits properly. I punch holds in the side with my Crop A Dial, add 3 rings and ribbon and walla its complete. I hope this helps all of you out there. If you have more questions I will do my best to answer them. Thanks again all of you that have supported my blogg and been followers. One day I hope to do a video of the whole think. Well until this everyone. Take care.
