Custom Order

Good sunday everyone. I just completed a custom order done for a customer from my Etsy store. She wanted a book for her 4 year old daughter to give to her (GiGi)grandmother for Christmas. She wanted to book to hold 4x6 photos. So all the matting in the book measures 4X6. The book measures at 10 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 pages inside back and front. The cover measures 7x7. I used DCWV French Country Stack. Trims and lace from my stash, along with some vintage tags embellishments from the internet and Melissa Frances. The front of the book holds a detachable photo frame and beautiful mulberry flowers that were glimmer misted. The side binding of the book I used bazzils ribbon in poka dot for the shoe lace stitch. Buttons were added for a little extra. I really think I did an awesome job on the book. It only took me a a total of 10 hours to complete this book and now it will be shipping out this week. Hope you all like it and it also inspires your creativity. Smootchez

Crafty Crafts (Christmas Items)

So this is something new I am working on . My husband wants me to make about 20 or so of these so he can take them to his job to sell them. Isnt he just the perfect scrapbooker's husband. I thought it was a awesome idea. So this is what I have come up with. I made all the flowers with the Tim Holtz Tattered florals die. I purchased the greenery from my local Dollar Free and the vases from a General discount store in my neighborhood. Oh and I also attach a tree ornament to each. I just love the finished product. I had no idea that it would come out so cute. I truely have the scrappers thumb. I hope you enjoy and maybe it will inspire your creativity.
